Help! I use Microsoft Office but some clients upgraded to the new version and I cannot open their files.The new version of Microsoft Office (2007) has drawn some criticism because it makes it hard to swap files with the old version. It's also tricky to use if you are used to 2000 or 2003 so lots of people are reluctant to upgrade.

Solution: Just Install The Microsoft Office Compatibility PackThe solution is pretty easy. Just click on the link below to download the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack. This will automatically convert those DOCX files to regular old DOC files so you can open them up. It's also suppose to work with PowerPoint and Excel but I haven't tried personally.

Update - The old code stopped working on FireFox 4.0+
The old menu.js file stopped working. Do two things to fix it:
